CPCCLSF4001 - Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding advanced level. This course provides participants with knowledge and skills to perform advanced scaffolding for licensing purposes.
This advanced scaffolding licence course includes the theoretical and practical components to meet the skills and knowledge required to safely perform advanced scaffolding work for the high-risk work licence class SA.
Scaffolding work involves erecting, altering or dismantling a temporary structure to support a platform from which a person or object could fall more than four metres.
Participants will gain the following skills and knowledge involved in scaffolding work:
cantilevered hoists
hung scaffolds, including scaffolds, hung from tubes, wire ropes or chains
suspended scaffolds
Training and assessment are conducted at Access Training facilities. Upon arrangement, training and assessment can be conducted at the premises of industry clients providing there are suitable industry training facilities.
Competence in this unit does not in itself result in a licence. A licence is obtained after competence is assessed under applicable Commonwealth, state or territory work health and safety (WHS) regulations.
