CPCCLDG3001 - Licence to perform dogging. This course aims to give participants the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and efficiently undertake dogging work in a range of working environments.
This dogging training course includes the theoretical and practical components to meet the skills and knowledge required to be able to perform the duties of a dogman for the high risk work licence class DG.
Participants will gain the following skills and knowledge:
Slinging techniques
Selecting and inspecting lifting gear and equipment
Directing crane operators in the safe movement and placement of loads including out of view of the crane operator
Applicable legislation and standards
Risk management procedures relating to lifting operations
Crane types
Uses and characteristics
Crane set up and other elements of crane and dogging operations
Training and assessment is conducted at Access Training facilities. Upon arrangement, training and assessment can be conducted at the premises of industry clients providing there are suitable industry training facilities.
